Participants will learn how to create supportive environments, implement effective behaviour guidance techniques, and understand the cultural and family influences on children’s behaviour.

Module 4: ELNG1001 – Language and Literacy
This module covers key concepts in language and literacy development, providing participants with the tools to support children’s growth in these areas. Participants will explore language development theories, stages, and practical strategies for fostering emergent literacy, particularly with bilingual and multilingual learners.

Module 5: ELNG1002 – English as a Second Language (ESL)
This module focuses on supporting ESL learners in early childhood education settings. Participants will explore effective communication strategies, vocabulary development, and how to support ESL learners in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
